A perfect compliment to the Tuesday night scene, Monday nights are a chiller evening that gives you some space to dive into your art practice. Great vibes, great people, less chaotic playlists.

Everyone loves Portrait Club. It’s the community-centered portrait session where one cherished community member brings their favorite cool outfits and everyone draws them and hugs and cries. Seriously it’s an absolute banger.

Y'all know the drill. We're BACK AT THE LOOV - AGAIN. Open mic, variety show, absolute banger. Best crowd in the city, I swear. 

Yes & Everything is a big loud fun show that showcases all sorts of local talent, from magic to music to acrobats to drag queens. We've got big sound, big emcees, cabaret-style seating & vibes. 

This month's theme is BEACH! BEACH BEACH BEACH! Come in your bathing suits. Come in your beach linens. Come with your pool noodles, your visors, your kites. Come ready to get some SUN!!!

Chapter 3! New model, same concept, great time. These guys go so hard - the costumes last month were outrageous! All you nerds and cosplayers and anime kids - this one is for you!!!

If you've ever thought "hey, figure modeling would be cool" - but haven't known how to pull the trigger - this Wednesday's session is for you!

Volunteer models will be able to pose for 1-2 poses (depending on interest) and try out figure modeling!

You are welcome to come draw even if you don't want to model.

This is REPLACING the rat-themed night because David had some scheduling issues :)

Come revel in our beautiful queer community (allies welcome & encouraged!) at this drag + queer figure night (which is basically all figure nights at the Loov just more camp). $15 to illustrate a nude + partially clothed queer model while enjoying a market of goods from local queer vendors including art, jewelry, and baked goods! Plus, performances by local artist and drag king Ebenezer Splooge where drawing is encouraged!

Now is your opportunity experience some IRL Historic Gay Yearning at our PRIDE MONTH Gilded Age Historic Portraiture Night in collaboration with The Gibson House Museum!! 🌈 🫖

This will be our first DUO POSE featuring two amazingly talented Historic Fashion Artists, Catherine and Ash! They will show us amazing Victorian underwear and fancy garb, and EVERYONE WILL GET TO VOTE on the final dress worn by Catherine for our final long pose! As always snacks and supplies will be provided and come early to secure a good spot- this isn't a drag show we are starting ON TIME!

Still ironing out the kinks here but this is basically Spanish-speaking figure drawing. Want more instruction/facilitation in Spanish? Want more people around you to socialize with who speak Spanish? Come to this night. If you’re an English speaker obviously you can still come but you better be attempting to speak Spanish.

Along with her being a friend/artist/educator i deeply admire and love, Cathryn has been interpreting and sharing the life of Poetical Genius Phillis Wheatley for years - the boston history scene knows how amazing she is and now you all will too.

THIS ONE IS A BIT DIFFERENT: We're still going to show and explain all the layers of clothing, but for this night we'll be delving into Wheatley's life, work, and her impact on Boston. We will have the chance to recreate the actual portrait/frontspiece of PW featured in her book, Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral (🔥), and we are going to do a whole HOUR final pose - so bring your paint! bring your brushes! bring your patience! LETS DO THIS!”
